A Wealth of Tax Knowledge Coming Soon to Your Inbox
Our new video series has everything you need to know about taxes.
Today I’m excited to introduce you to a brand-new video series I’m starting with Lacey Harnar, CPA. We’re going to provide a wealth of knowledge for individuals on all things tax-related.
Throughout this series, we’ll go through homestead tax exemption information, 1031 exchanges, and how to position yourself to best maximize your investment from a tax perspective. Inventory in our market is at a crazy low level and depending on your plans, it could be the perfect time to start planning your sale based on the numbers.
Lacey primarily works with small business owners and real estate investors and helps them reduce their tax liability and dominate in an audit. They work with clients on a monthly basis either as tax management support or full-service accounting where they do bookkeeping, budgeting, tax management, and more. As a business grows, there are always questions. Lacey is there to answer them all.
Lacey has a quick tip to share about homestead tax exemptions for today’s part one. These are common in many states, and depending on the state, the exemption reduces the property taxes on your residential property by a few thousand dollars. It’s a nice little savings. If your name is on the deed as of January 1, you can go ahead and apply, and save. If you buy a home this year, make sure you get that exemption filed by April 1, 2022.
If you have any tax-related questions for Lacey, don’t hesitate to reach out and give her a call at (678) 827-2365 or send her an email to info@harnarmoll.com.
If you have any additional questions for me about the market, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
